WELCOME TO A NEW ERA OF BIOMEDICAL INFORMATICS SOLUTIONS

About us

AFNP is dedicated to the production of new and sophisticated computational tools, oriented to Biological and Neurological applications. Our Research & Development department is currently focused on the wide spectrum of Neurodegenerative disorders such as Autism and Alzheimer’s Disease and Knowledge extraction from Neuroinformatics Applications. During 2017 a new software was created for handling patients with dementia using Enrichment Sensory Environments via EEG recording and processing, with several more functionalities like brain visualization and sound composing for individualized treatment. Currently, new ideas and applications are under process for enriching the biomedical and neurological research...

Alzheimer

The real etiology of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is still unclear while several risk factors have been recognized to catalytically affect the early onset and the progression of the disease. According to latest studies , AD can be categorized according to risk factors, symptoms, and pathophysiological lesions into 8 different categories...

Autism & Dementia - Neuroinformatics software

The Neurocognitive Assessment Software for Enrichment Sensory Environments (NASESE) is based on the JAVA and Processing programming languages and detects, displays and analyzes EEG signals for individual or a group of patients. This neuroinformatics software offers a digital painting environment and a real-time transformation of EEG signals into adjustable music volume and octave configuration per electrode, for the real-time observation and evaluation of therapeutic procedures...
